ArtGora Riga - 2019

In the framework of ArtGora Riga forum on 10 - 12 April 2019, we asked some of our participating artists who are active in promoting gender equality to share stories about experiences of gaps in their lives due to a gender or normative gap. 

• What is it like to be the only woman DJ in town? 

• The gender gap in many languages that reinforces gender inequalities. 

• In the arts field, do artists have a generation gap between them? 

• How reading Simone de Beauvoir's The Other Sex made her want to quit her job.
