We all live with a Gap.
We all live with a Gap.We all live with a Gap.We all live with a Gap.THAT'S A FACT!
THAT'S A FACT!
We are a creative programme initiated by the National Museums of World Culture (Sweden) to facilitate inclusion, equality, intercultural dialogue and active citizenship through digital storytelling, performing arts and music. We investigate how gaps in our lives and societies can bring us closer to each other.
Our exhibition at the World Culture Museum in Gothenburg was among the top 3 finalists of Sweden's prestigious DOSS award in 2021.
We create a safe dialogue space for ordinary people and artists from different cultural and social backgrounds to reflect on gaps in our personal life and societies and help individuals become more active citizens.
We ask ourselves "can our gaps bring us closer to each other?"
We organise creative residencies and workshops using storytelling, theatre and music.
🔴 Everyone is living with a gap. Only by speaking of it and sharing your experience with other, we can overcome/fill in these gaps.
🟠 Everyone has the right to own and share their story.
🟡 The healing power of storytelling.
🟢 We need to give a voice to the unheard to cultivate active citizenship.
🔵 Artistic expression is open to ALL genders.
🟣 The colonial past is still shadowing the present.
